SMS Privacy Policy

Chef Amy uses SMS for low-volume, non-promotional conversations with individuals who initiate contact or otherwise opt in. This includes prospective and confirmed clients, event organizers, speaker, guest and appearance booking contacts, business contacts, and limited communications handled by Amy’s authorized assistant.
Information We Collect
We may collect your mobile phone number, message content, communication preferences, SMS opt-in method and consent record, and information you voluntarily provide during an inquiry or conversation.
How We Use SMS Information
We use this information to:
• Respond to inquiries
• Coordinate speaker, guest, appearance, and other bookings
• Schedule appointments or calls
• Send confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages
• Send Zoom meeting links and call-in phone numbers
• Relay requested messages or provide limited responses on behalf of Amy
We do not use this SMS program for unsolicited advertising, purchased contact lists, lead generation, or bulk marketing.
How You Opt In
Individuals may initiate a text conversation with Chef Amy regarding an inquiry, booking, scheduling, or another requested service. That inbound message provides consent for Chef Amy or her authorized assistant to reply about that same request. When her assistant continues the exchange from (504) 499-1085, Chef Amy tells the individual that her assistant will respond from Chef Amy’s business text number.
Individuals may also opt in directly by sending START, YES, or UNSTOP to (504) 499-1085. An email, proposal, or personal invitation may provide these instructions, but the invitation alone does not enroll anyone. The individual must send the text-message keyword to complete enrollment through this method.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Individuals may decline text follow-up and communicate by email or phone instead. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be provided only to service providers that help us deliver and support our messaging service, and only for that purpose. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Opting Out and Getting Help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may also reply HELP for assistance. After an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
Data Protection
We use reasonable safeguards to protect SMS information and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
